Officially unveiled on 26 September, the ‘Cyprus Mobility Centre’ and ‘Cyprus Researcher’s Mobility Portal’ function as key networks offering job descriptions, contacts and practical information about working on the Mediterranean island.

German immigration law welcomes foreign researchers

The latest German regulations governing immigration grant permanent residence and permission to work immediately to researchers and other qualified workers with concrete job offers. The new rules, which came into force on 1 January 2005, continue a process of liberalising immigration rules.
